First Glance:
Authentic Western guys are promised on the Rodeo Raunch tour in a
wide range of images and movies and, once you get in to the
members area of the site that is exactly what you see. That being
said, the site shows promise growth wise and over time I have a
feeling that this is going to become a major destination for
lovers of rugged, gay cowboy content.
Members Area Review:
Although the Rodeo Raunch members area is basic looking, it
definitely gives you the opportunity to preview a good selection
of the sites overall features, from the latest image updates, the
site feeds and even some of the hottest features overall in the
members area. The members area navigation I found to be a little
to simple, just text links at the top and right of the pages and I
think they could have been done a little better by using some
graphics.
The members homepage on Rodeo Raunch listed several of the hottest
features within the site including some gay cowboy movie feeds so,
that's where I decided to start out in the members area. The first
thing I noticed about the feeds was that there were a lot of them
although, they weren't all 'cowboy' related. I watched several of
the feeds for a few minutes to get an idea of the content and,
whilst the movies inside them were of a really good quality and
length, several of them I had seen before inside other gay pay
sites.
From the feeds section I headed across to the 'XXX Movies' half
expecting to see the same movies I had just watched in the feeds
but, pleasantly enough, I found several pages of movies and, the
vast majority of them featured some really hot looking cowboy
types.
The movies themselves were arranged neatly on the page, each with
a thumbnail preview that I had to click to play or download the
movie. The quality of the movies themselves was very good, in fact
I would say it was almost like watching a DVD with the exception
of the viewable size an average looking 480x360 pixels.
After watching several of the movies, all of which played well
over 15 minutes, I headed towards the 'XXX Pictures' section and
again, saw a nice and simple page with the various image sets
nicely laid out with click able thumbnails.
The quality of both the small sized thumbnails AND the full sized
picture was excellent. The full sized images could have been a
little larger than the 800px width they were but, they were crisp
and clear and that in my opinion is more important than the actual
size of the image.
With over 10 pages of naked gay cowboy image content, each page
having around 15 sets on it, there is a vast library of image sets
to be found in the members area and, most of them I hadn't seen
before so that was an added bonus.
After checking out several more of the image galleries I took a
look at the other sections within the Rodeo Raunch members area,
as expected, the online dating link went to an external dating
site that I had seen before however, the blog link (that lets you
create your own free blog) and the customer support pages all lead
to pages which appeared to be part of the main site. There was
also a story section in the members area and, that did in fact
appear to have several stories featuring cowboy types in them as
promised on the sites tour.
Overall:
I was really glad that I got the chance of seeing the Rodeo Raunch
members area, as I stated at the beginning of this review, there
is a lot of room for this site to grow even more but, what is in
the site presently is certainly worth the monthly membership fee.
With the exception of a couple of 'older' movies located in the
feeds section id say 'yeehaw' to Rodeo Raunch as a site to
recommend.
