First Glance:
I had a really hard time reviewing the Retro Male paysite, not
because of anything negative but, more for the fact that I really
couldn't think of the words to describe how happy I was with the
members area. The content is old (as in black and white) but for
this site, that was a REALLY good thing. Lets take a look at the
members area in more detail so you can see what I mean.
Members Area Review:
From the second you login to the Retro Male members area you know
you have found a gem of a paysite. The entire members area is laid
out in such a way that you can find everything you want really
easily and, the content inside the site was simply stunning. From
the latest image updates to the movies and even the feeds inside,
you can tell that antique gay porn is in a class all of its own.
My curiosity was peaked after logging in so I decided to check out
the image gallery section of the Retro Male members area and, I
was simply amazed by what I saw, page upon page of image galleries
all featuring gay guys from the 60's, 70's and 80's in both black
and white and full color (for the 80's content).
The images themselves really gave you a feel of how gay porn used
to be, no scripts, no overly good looking models, just raw,
unadulterated classic gay sex action. The size of the images was
also exceptional, most of the full sized pictures I saw were at
least 900px wide on the longest side and the quality of them was
simply stunning. With thousands of gay retro images on offer
inside Retro Male it really will take a long time to see them all.
Each of the image sets that I viewed had at least 30 full sized
images within them and some had over 100, all of them were
dedicated to the days gone by of antique gay porn.
The next area of the Retro Male members area I checked out was the
'XXX Movie' archive and again, the amount of gay movie content to
be found inside this area of the site was overwhelming, pages upon
pages of movies, all neatly arranged on the page, all with a
crisp, clear thumbnail so you could see what type of guy was
featured in the movie itself.
When the movie started to play, it only took a few seconds to
buffer and, the quality of the movie was also pretty good. There
was a large viewable area and the audio was excellent (I could
clearly hear every grunt and groan).
I also took a few minutes to check out the gay story section
inside the members area and, as promised, there were a wide
selection of stories in a range of tastes from older guys to
younger twinks and everything in between. The length of each story
varied however, the shortest I read was around 700-1000 words in
length. The only negative I found with the story section is that
you had to keep scrolling in order to read the full story, I think
this could become a little annoying if you are trying to j/o while
reading one of them!
There are several other sections within the members area
including, support pages, feeds, message boards and even an area
for you to create your own gay blog but, I didn't find these to be
as important to the sites content as the stories, images and
movies section so didn't spend much time in them.
Overall:
As I said at the beginning of this review, words really cant
describe how excellent the Retro Male members area is so, all I
will say is that if you can be sure to join this site, it is
stunning, simply stunning an A+ site in my opinion!
